Make it special

Your wedding is about how you met, your love story so far and what makes you a unique couple. My role is to help you bring that all to life in front of all of your friends and family.

A celebrant led wedding allows you to personalise the entire ceremony - the words, readings, music, choreography (should you choose!!) - and add any smaller services within the ceremony such as unity candles or handfasting, for example.

I am focused on creating and delivering your ceremony with you to reflect your personalities. I will work with you, crafting your ceremonial script from scratch with your thoughts and ideas.

You will be able to relax as, from our first meeting to the end of the ceremony, you will know that all your wishes have been heard, written and delivered with only you in mind.

The Legal Bit

It's simple really,

There are two parts to legalise your ceremony.

1 Giving notice to marry. You must give notice at least a month before the date of your wedding, and must marry within 12 months of giving notice. Cost £70

2 The marriage agreement will be conducted your local Registrar. All you will need is you and two witnesses.

Other costs:

Marriage certificate: £11

Name change: £36

You can arrange to visit the Registry Office to formalise the paperwork at a time convenient to you - which may be on the morning of your wedding or a day or two before. I suggest you don't exchange rings before the Registrar, that is something special for the big day. Most of my couples make the arrangements a day or two before and attend dressed casually without any guests.
